Now that I have my events sorted out and can find them easily, I am ready to use some of the features in Lynda.com. One feature that I like is to use is to only highlight the portion of the clip that I want. This is the yellow box that you see. It also allows you to stretch out the frame for finer editing. I did this by stretching from 5 to 30.
Another feature that I learned was to crop the photo. I learned this when I thought my camera would record sideways. This can be done by clicking the segment clicking on the crop button and rotate it left or right using the arrows in the crop box. I am turning some of my footage now and will complete the final project in my next blog.
